Helsinki City Running Day grows with a new event: Helsinki City Double! Helsinki City Double is a 63,3 km run where the runners run both Helsinki City Run half marathon and Helsinki City Marathon on May 18th, 2019.

We are thrilled to announce that Helsinki City Marathon (May 18th, 2019) is a qualifying event for the inaugural AbbottWMM Wanda Age Group World Rankings. Over 50 events across six continents and 24 countries give you the chance to earn ranking points and qualify for a spot in the 2020 World Championships! 

The first time organized Helsinki City Running Day event attracted over 14,000 runners all over Finland and the world representing 68 nationalities. A big thank you to all who were part of the day. Thank you to our partners, volunteers and especially to you Runners! The runners made the day a memorable, the Finland's biggest running event!  THANK YOU.

Welcome to the race week runners! And welcome to Helsinki! We are excited that you are here and hope you will enjoy your stay! Thank you for choosing Sportyfeel Helsinki City Marathon! Here are some last minute tips for the days before the marathon on Saturday!
Don’t do anything new. Race week isn’t the time to try new shoes, new food or drinks, new gear, or anything else you haven’t used on several workouts. Stick with the routine that works for you!

Tallinna Maraton colours the Estonian capital in flag tones

The Republic of Estonia’s 100th birthday celebrations are well underway and notable events are taking place across the country. Tallinna Maraton is dedicated to the country’s 100th birthday this year and the event is also part of the official EV100 sports programme.

If you live or visit the Helsinki area, feel free to join free training runs organized by Finnish Athletics and Juoksuliike. There are two trainings per month throughout the year. Trainings are published in Facebook in the Helsinki City Run page's events. Please ask for translation from if the English version is not available.

Helsinki City Running Day combines the most important running events of Finland in one day: May 19th 2018. The routes and schedules of these five events have been planned carefully and are now final. 

The biggest change compared with the previous years concerns the Sportyfeel Helsinki City Run Half Marathon, the biggest running event in Finland. The starting time changes from the afternoon to 11:30 A.M. HCR also has a brand-new route!
